1909 Golding Pearl Improved
aka The Beauty

Our elegant workhorse of a press. ur Golding Pearl was fitted with a motor and a homemade variable speed pulley system at some point in her past and is an absolute dream to print on. We print most greeting cards, flat stationery, business cards, and coasters, et al., on our Pearl.

1936 Vandercook 4 Old Style
aka The Golden Goose

This Vandercook 4 is one of the oldest Vandercook 4s still in existence, complete with the old style's signature cabinets. Reconditioned and retrofitted at some point in time by Vandercook with a foot pedal, this proofing press produces our short run letterpress when the Pearl cannot. It has the ability to do large art prints as well as exacting registration work.

1954 Heidelberg Windmill
aka The Beast

Our newest press is still being rehabbed. It currently takes up a lot of room and makes a lot of interesting noises.

Challenge Advance Paper Cutter

Carrying a patent date of July 23, 1889, this pre-WWI paper cutter comes complete with original gold leaf designs still visible. Able to cut up to 30" wide, it gives Joie Studio the capability to cut large parent sheets down with ease.
